He’s Just Feeding The Fish When A Surprise Visitor Decides To Drop By.
It’s called Grand Cayman’s Stingray City and it’s a bit of a mystery as no one seems to know how that name came to be. Nevertheless, it’s a big tourist destination for people all around the world.
Some assume that the stingray’s caught on to the regular activity of fishermen who would clean their fish there. So they decided to stick around and snack on the scraps.
Now it is tour boats, instead of fishing boats. Tourists hop on and hope to see the stingrays up close and personal.
It’s even gotten to the point where the stingrays will hear the sound of the boat motors, and link that sound up with food.
So when the tourist boat does arrive, they indeed pop up. You can actually feed these guys while standing in a mere 3 feet of water!
What a cool experience! This is really very interesting surprise visitor!
