Soldier Captures Moments Of Stray Cat Choosing Him To Be His Forever Human
Cats know what they want, and they usually can get it. A stray cat chose a soldier to be his human forever. The cat decided to fall asleep in the soldier combat helmet!
Not the most comfortable bed, but there is no way the cat would be left behind! The cat started to follow a soldier, Justin, on active duty near Constanta, Romania.
Justin said ever since he found the cat, he has been his constant shadow.
Justin has had him for a couple of weeks. The cat followed Justin to the barracks they live in on a semi-abandoned base. Justin named the cat Salem.
Salem likes sleeping in Justin’s helmet and hopping up into his lap for attention and love.
Justin says there is a huge stray population problem in Romania. Here we see Salem and Justin having some quiet time together after a busy day.
Salem is very loving to his new human and reminds him of home.
It is an amazing feeling to have a kitty all curled up in your lap purring like crazy!
Justin will be in Romania for one and a half months and is working to get Salem to the vet and find a rescue group to help arrange for Salem to be moved to his home in El Paso, Texas.
Salem does seem quite content to sleep in Justin’s lap!
Justin says he and his wife would be happy to give Salem a forever home. Good Luck Justin. We hope Salem gets to go home with you!
